|Comments:||Richard Strangman moved to Canberra in 1927 and quickly established himself as one of Canberra’s leading commercial photographers. He recorded the growth and development of Canberra and the region for more than 30 years, specialising in buildings, monuments and landscapes. Strangman’s photographs were circulated throughout Australia in a variety of forms including photographic prints, postcards, greeting cards, on souvenir china, in tourism publications and on menus for parliamentary banquets and important functions.|
